Welcome to the slightly adjusted Dirty Rock! We’ve altered the look of the e-mag ever so slightly and reduced the price to just $3 Australian dollars! For readers outside of Australia that makes it even cheaper for you considering the Aussie dollar just plain sucks right now!
I’ve felt unhappy with our price and payment system since the launch and have worked hard to find a better payment gateway, cheaper prices and a better layout to make the experience of reading Dirty Rock all the more worthwhile.
Now everything is done using PayPal and a .zip file system including both file versions of the mag. This is not only easier but also so you know your details and subsequent download are safe and secure. This system also means we aren’t restricted by what we can charge anymore meaning a price drop to just AUD$3.00. You can also pick up our back issues for just AUD$3.00 too.
And the best part is, DR is now in a position to offer special bonus music downloads just for buying a single issue. Rest assured we are currently working on what and when that will take place but if you have any suggestions please send DR a message using our contact page
So, onto this issue. This month sees DR talk to Joey Vera of Armored Saint ahead of their first ever Australian tour, and Ray Phillips, founding drummer of British legends Budgie. We also bring you Part 2 of the Axl Speaks webchat transcripts and a detailed look at the story so far of the band that rose from the ashes of The Darkness, Stone Gods.
There’s all that plus a swag of reviews and even some new videos at the back so as always, sit back, crack a beer and have a read. And don’t forget to save the mag using the toolbars at the bottom of the page so you can come back to it later (We finally fixed it so it’s working!).
