Downspirit Announces New Line-Up

Downspirit, the German/Swiss blues/metal-oriented band formed by Symphorce/ex-Freedom Call guitarist Cedric “Cede” Dupont, announce a new bassist and drummer to their ranks.

Longtime friends Dennis Wohlbold (bass) and Steffen Theurer (drummer) are taking over the rhythm duties from now on.

The band states: “We are so excited to have found such a blasting replacement and enrichment on the rhythm section! Everything sounds killer and we can’t wait for you to meetDennis and Steffen on one of our next shows. Seb and Sven decided to head on for a different future in their lifes, and we wish them all the best!”

In other news, Downspirit are confirming more and more touring dates in support of their sensational debut album ‘Point of Origin’ which was released in 2010 in Europe and the US/Canada. A list of shows can be found below:
