Duff McKagan Undergoes Sinus Surgery

Former Guns N’ Roses bassist Duff McKagan is undergoing sinus surgery today due to years of excessive drug use, according to a Twitter post by McKagan’s wife Susan Holmes.

Susan says, “am thankful + blessed my man is alive today!-kids don’t do drugs! say a prayer 4 Duff, as he’s getting surgery on his sinuses (a hole the size of a quarter from years of abuse)..we must live + learn, how lucky we are for our health & family & friends – Love u Duff xxxx”

Earlier this week Duff and Susan appeared in a new PETA ad wearing little more than the tattoos that adorn their bodies. “Ink, Not Mink,” the caption reads. “Be comfortable in your own skin and let animals keep theirs.”
