Dynamite “Burn It Down” In New Video Featuring Udo Dirkschneider Cameo

September 1, 2014

Fresh off the heels of “It’s A Long Way Home”, the first video to promote their latest CD ‘Blackout Station’, Swedish rockers Dynamite are back with another video, this time for “Burn It Down”.

Speaking exclusively to Sleaze Roxx, Dynamite frontman Mattis Kasrlsson advised that, “The video was filmed in a gravel pit outside of Tingsryd (in Sweden). It took about two days to film but months to plan (laughs).”

The video for “Burn It Down” features none other than U.D.O. founder and former Accept frontman Udo Dirkschneider. Regarding Dirkschneider’s involvement, Karlsson told Sleaze Roxx that, “We wanted a bad ass guy to fill up some room in the video, so we contacted U.D.O.’s management and luckily Udo said yes!” When asked what was the highlight in terms of shooting the video, Karlsson indicated, “Of course, meeting and working with Udo (was the highlight), but everything was really fun — especially when the big bombs when off!”.

Dynamite’s ‘Blackout Station’ was released back on May 23rd via High Roller Records and is the follow-up to their 2013 debut ‘Lock N Load’. “This album is pure classic rock ‘n’ roll marinated with whiskey and served with a heavy dose of blues,” said Sleaze Roxx in a recent review of the new disc, “What’s done is done, and what Dynamite has done with Blackout Station is damn good.”

The band is scheduled to embark on a mini-tour throughout Europe starting in mid-September that will cover parts of Switzerland, Germany and Austria. Tour dates are available at www.dynamitesweden.com and www.facebook.com/dynamitesweden.
