Dynamite facing line-up changes w/ departures of frontman Mattis Karlsson & drummer Jonas Hagström
Swedish rockers Dynamite consisting of frontman Mattis Karlsson, guitarist Sebastian Hed-Plikas, drummer Jonas Hagström and bassist Adam Butler have been relatively quiet during the last few years after the release of their albums Lock N Load (2013), Blackout Station (2014) and Big Bang (2017). There is now seemingly an explanation for this as Karlsson and Hagström are no longer part of the band and while a new guitarist and drummer have been found, the search is on for a new lead vocalist.
The following message was posted on Dynamite‘s Facebook page earlier today:
“LINE-UP CHANGES
Mattis and Jonas has decided to leave the band for personal reasons.
We have known for some time now and since then we have been figuring out our way forward.
This was a really hard blow for us, Mattis and Jonas has been in the band since the beginning and without them there would have been no DYNAMITE.
Together we have spent countless hours in rehearsal rooms, studios and on the road touring all over Europe.
We released three albums together with Big Bang being the last album with the original line-up.
There are no hard feelings between us and we wish them nothing but the best in their future endeavors.
With that being said, we have decided to continue with the band with new members.
A new guitarist and drummer has joined the band and we’ll tell you more about them soon.
Now we are looking for a singer to complete the line-up.
Are you the one or do you know someone who is?
Send us a message here or at dynamite.swe@gmail.com”
