Electric Mob release video for track “Upside Down”
Brazilian rockers Electric Mob consisting of lead vocalist Renan Zonta, guitarist Ben Hur, bassist Yuri Elero and drummer André Leister have released a video for their track “Upside Down” from their upcoming debut full-length album Discharge, which will be available via Frontiers Music Srl on June 12, 2020.
The Bridge Press BR‘s press release indicates in part (with slight edits):
“Recorded by Fernando Hideki, with a script created with the members of Electric Mob, the track “Upside Down” is the second single and video clip that the band releases to promote their debut album, Discharge, and shows the musicians in a parallel universe where animals with people’s bodies share space with humans. All packed with an “up-tempo” song with frantic rhythms.
“The song is a two-and-a-half-minute mayhem, that talks about social differences, dystopia, despair and fear of the future in the midst of all the madness that we have to go through. With that in mind, we opted for a video that would meet the frenzy of music, but without addressing a heavy concept, which we see and live every day. We need a little distraction and a few laughs to make things lighter. And that’s it. Simple script, stoned, in the style of the Beastie Boys with a pinch of Jackass (laughs). We had a lot of fun doing it and the result is there ”, says Renan Zonta, lead singer of the band.
Discharge will be released worldwide by the European label Frontiers Music on June 12, 2020, has been long awaited and has already received several accolades, due to the excellent repercussion of the single “Devil You Know”, which, among other achievements, appears in dozens official playlists, curated by Spotify itself.”
