What do you do when you were high on drugs for a large portion of your life and want to follow up your best selling autobiography with another book about your life? Former Guns N’ Roses drummer Steven Adler has apparently decided to follow up his best selling autobiography My Appetite For Destruction with a new book entitled Steven Adler: The S**t My Friends Remember I Did where he is relying on stories from others about what he has done in the past. Adler even has a website called Steven Adler Stories where people can post their stories about him.
Loudwire reported Adler as stating: “I’m putting a book together called Steven Adler: The S—t My Friends Remember I Did. Because now that I’m sober I’m hearing all these stories of things I did and I’m completely blank. So all my friends are telling me stories and so I started a website called Steven Adler Stories and if you have a story where we’ve ever met anywhere around the world, it should be no less that 20 words and no more than 125 words. That’s how you can be a part of my history.”
“Girls, there are plenty of girls around the world that I have to apologize to. I was drinking and using and I would say and do things that I would not normally do,” says Adler, who adds with a smile, “So be gentle.”

One posting on Adler‘s website Steven Adler Stories states: “Jan. 2006, Steven fired his band while on tour in Europe, hired me and my friends to do 3 shows in Italy, smoked pot all the time with us, played great all 3 shows and gave us young fans the thrill of our lives. Thats to sum it up, would need a full book chapter to recount the whole week we spent with him. Steven, you still owe me a Stones tshirt!”
