Ex-Scorpions drummer James Kottak starts PledgeMusic campaign to raise funds for album
After first getting temporarily replaced as the Scorpions drummer in April 2016 and then subsequently permanently replaced in September 2016, James Kottak is now working on a new album and has started a PledgeMusic campaign to raise funds for it.
Kottak‘s PledgeMusic campaign states:
“Thank you for your response & positive comments to ‘time for a new KOTTAK album’.
As some of you already heard from updates on the internet, we (our team) are going to realize something big in a new amazing way: We are going to realize my New Album via PledgeMusic – together with you! We have already begun pre-production and are moving fast forward!
As you know it can be expensive to make a quality album…Unfortunately, the music industry is broken and the labels are all but gone.
Why PledgeMusic? Our fans have been extremely supportive over the years. We want to share the process of realizing this project with you by creating this PledgeMusic campaign. We give you the opportunity to get some special items, gifts and to be a part of the entire project.
How does it work? With every pledge, you support us to realize and release the album. As soon as we have reached 100% the project will be realized. If we don ́t reach the target (that won’t happen!), you don’t get charged anything. But you won’t receive any items either. That’s a fair deal. On top you help a charity, as a part of the raised money will be donated to a charity project. We will tell you more about this in the next updates.
Why should you participate? By pledging you are not only helping us, you will also have exclusive access to our updates (videos, photos, blogs etc.) during the process. Most of the updates are for pledgers only. Be sure there will be some surprises. Be a part of my world.
