Ex-Tesla guitarist Tommy Skeoch releases snippet of new solo album that should be out within 4 months
Great news for fans of Tesla and former band guitarist Tommy Skeoch as the latter is almost finished his new solo album that he hopes to have released within four months’ time.
The following message was posted on Skeoch‘s Facebook page earlier today:
“So the record run outta funds for a second there so we didn’t do anything for a couple of months
Sorry I didn’t post more to keep u guys updated but I’m just soooo not great at staying on top of the Facebook jam …
Anyway finished mixing

It’ll b worth the wait I think

It’s called SkinsuiT
We will have a separate Facebook page and website for this thing
I’ll give u guys that info when it’s up
Check out these clips of the mixes
Gives ya a pretty good idea of what’s up

Wikipedia states the following about Skeoch‘s departure from Tesla (with slight edits): “In the summer of 2006, the band embarked on the Electric Summer Jam Tour without guitarist Tommy Skeoch. Skeoch had left the band indefinitely to spend time with his family, and, as he later revealed on “The Classic Metal Show“, other reasons; particularly his problems with substance abuse. Scott Johnson of the Sacramento band Rogue filled in for a time on this tour. Eventually Dave Rude replaced Skeoch permanently.”
