Ex-Tyketto guitarist Brooke St. James still dealing with Covid side effects including scarred lung tissue

Back in early November 2021, it was publicly revealed that former Tyketto guitarist Brooke St. James, also known as David Rundall, was hospitalized due to Covid related issues for almost a month in October 2021 during which time he almost lost his life. A Go Fund Me page was started to assist St. James while he continued his recovery at home while tethered to an oxygen machine and being able to move around with the assistance of a walker. Later updates on the Go Fund Me page reportedly revealed that St. James hadn’t received the Covid vaccine when he contracted the virus but was now encouraging others to get it.

Unfortunately, St. James is still suffering from Covid symptoms as detailed in the following message posted on Tyketto‘s Facebook page earlier yesterday:

“A message from Brooke:

Hi everyone. Sorry I’ve been off the grid. I am dealing with an aging parent who has needed much of my attention of late.

I want most of all to thank each and every one of you for your love and support. I am still dealing with a number of Covid side effects but believe these will pass in time not the least of which is scarred lung tissue. I am still regaining strength throughout my body and breathing is improving very slowly. I can tell you that because of your support a huge burden has been lifted off my family financially as it relates to medical bills. Again a huge thank you!! ❤️

I will be ending this Go Fund Me page https://gofund.me/dc3f814e at midnight my time tonight.

With love and gratitude,

Brooke and Family”

The BSJ Family Covid Relief Fund‘s Go Fund Me page indicates that $18,347 US was raised.
