Faithsedge part ways with keyboardist Alessandro Del Vecchio for next album but Tim Gaines in
The group Faithsedge, which is singer Giancarlo Floridia‘s project involving various musicians, will be working on a fourth album but the line-up will not be including Hardline keyboardist Alessandro Del Vecchio this time around. However, the line-up scheduled to record Faithsedge‘s fourth studio album, which will follow up 2016’s Restoration album, will include bassist Tim Gaines who appears not to be with Stryper anymore.
The following message was posted on Giancarlo Floridia‘s Facebook page earlier today:
“So a some bad news and some really good news. Without press or big announcement online I’m sorry to say Alessandro Del Vecchio will not be producing or playing keys on the next Faithsedge album. I wish him well with everything he’s got going with Frontiers records, Hardline and in AOR scene etc.
Now for the good news the rest of the line up including Myself /Alex De Rosso / Tim Gaines / Matt Starr start pre- production for album 4 immediately .The album will be produced by Alex De Rosso and will be more of a guitar arena rock style album and is already half way written and will be scheduled for a 2018 instead of a 2019 release! We will also be announcing our new keyboard player close to the albums release but the album with be more vocal, guitar, bass and drum driven so it will have much less keys then Restoration .Thanks for the support friends and here’s to new killer songs and pushing forward !”
Del Vecchio posted the following message in the comments section following Floridia‘s aforementioned Facebook message: “Giancarlo Floridia I’m beyond proud of what we’ve done together. It’s never a goodbye when respect is the foundation of a bond. I wish you personally and the whole band the best for the future bro. You’ll always have my support! Black Sicilian Bond.”
