Fans Attempt Kiss Make-Up Record

FANS ATTEMPT KISS MAKE-UP RECORD:

The organizers of Britain’s upcoming Download festival are calling for KISS fans to help them set an odd new record.

Devotees of the rockers are being asked to get made up for this weekend’s event so they can help organizers stage a world-record attempt for the “most people made up as KISS.”

In a statement on the event’s website, promoters reveal, “We have joined forces with FACE, the official body of face-painters who are providing at least of 20 professional face-painters in order to achieve our goal! We hope to be able to set a record for over 400 faces painted within three hours.”

Both KISS and original KISS guitarist Ace Frehley are scheduled to perform at this year’s Download festival in Leicestershire, England.
