Find out who is in Gene Simmons’ new solo band

KISS‘ co-founder and long-time bassist/singer Gene Simmons will be playing a number of select shows as a solo performer and his backing band is reported as follows (from left to right not including Simmons): guitarist Phil Shouse (Rodney Atkins, John Corabi, Lipstick, Thee Rock N Roll Residency), drummer Jarred Pope (Thee Rock N Roll Residency), guitarist/bassist Jeremy Asbrock (The Shazam, John Corabi, Thee Rock N Roll Residency) and guitarist Ryan Cook (Hair Of The Dog, Thee Rock N Roll Residency).

Thee Rock N Roll Residency is a local Nashville bar act that covers ’70s rock tunes and has featured many guests including Alice Cooper, Robin Zander (Cheap Trick), Lzzy Hale (Halestorm), Damon Johnson (Thin Lizzy), Derek St. Holmes (Ted Nugent), Bebe Buell, and many more. The residency is a regular on many cruise ships, including the Kiss Kruise.

Simmons is set to play his first solo gig at The Agora Theatre in Cleveland, Ohio, USA on March 18, 2017.

Shouse appears as a guest lead guitarist on Lipstick‘s new song “You Can’t Stop The Rock” which is available for a free download on the band’s website. The track appears on Lipstick‘s sophomore studio album Lipstick II.
