Fire Action release video for track “Streetwise Hercules”

Finnish rockers Fire Action consisting of lead vocalist Gary L. James, guitarist Juri Vuortama, bassist J. Hongisto and drummer Samuli Häkkilä have unveiled a video for their new single “Streetwise Hercules” from their new album 9112, which was released back on July 25, 2020 and can be ordered via the band’s Bandcamp page.

Fire Action‘s press release indicates (with slight edits):

Fire Action’s Halloween-video got out of hand

Fire Action’s latest video “Streetwise Hercules” is surreal mini-movie while the city sleeps.

“We got the inspiration from Paganini’s ’80s video ‘Berlin by Night'”, guitar player Juri says. “The weird ending was not included in the script. It was surprise to all of us. We still have no certainty what really happens.”

“Streetwise Hercules” is released night before Halloween and three weeks before Friday The 13th. There’s also some tongue-in-cheek scenes.

“We could not afford guitar solo on the train tracks in The Grand Canyon so we shot that part between two streetcar stops in Helsinki. However, I was not sure that they will stop. That’s why I look so scared on the video”, he laughs.

“Streetwise Hercules” is the third video from the CD 9112 released in summer 2020. It was directed by Panu Pentikäinen.”
