First Van Halen Appearance In Reno Since 1992

March 29, 2008

Due to overwhelming fan demand, VAN HALEN announced today that they will add Reno, Nevada to their critically acclaimed North American concert tour, bringing fans one of the most successful concert tours in recent memory.

Music fans and the press have responded to VAN HALEN’s 2007/2008 tour with passionate fanfare. “For more than two hours, the gods delivered,” said Rolling Stone. Playboy magazine recently awarded VAN HALEN as Best Live Act of 2007 in its annual Music Poll in the March 2008 issue.

Formed in Los Angeles in 1974, the band has always been known for their electrifying live shows. From the moment they released their self-titled 1978 debut album, VAN HALEN shook the foundations of rock, thanks largely to Roth’s peerless showmanship, Eddie Van Halen’s revolutionary guitar virtuosity and their songwriting abilities. Their music has changed rock and roll forever.
