Former Crucified Barbara singer Mia Karlsson heading in new musical direction

About a month and a half ago, Swedish rockers Crucified Barbara announced that they were calling it quits with the following explanation: “Our lives have parted and we need to move on. The last years have taken its toll on all of us and the joy of playing together got lost somewhere along the way.”

Crucified Barbara‘s singer Mia Karlsson did not wait very long before resurfacing on the music scene but she is back playing a different much more mellow musical acoustic genre.

The bio on Karlsson‘s new Facebook page states: “This is my new official FB for my music and other upcoming projects. I am working on my acoustic studio album (with producer Chips Kiesbye) and meanwhile, I’ll do some live gigs, playing my favorite cover songs just to have fun!
