Former Slik Toxik guitarist Kevin Gale reveals that he almost tried to kill himself six months ago

Ex-Slik Toxik and current Punishment guitarist Kevin Gale has revealed via a Facebook post that he almost tried to kill himself six months ago. Gale is in the midst of writing his autobiography with Sleaze Roxx writer Tyson Briden.

The following message was posted on Gale‘s Facebook page earlier today:

“So almost all moved. Gym this morning a great workout. Now time for pondering and breakfast. Nothing like eggs bene to help that pondering. 6 months ago I was ready to die. Planned and almost executed. Lost everything. Didnt feel like I was worth anything. Now fast forward to today. I have a great new apartment. The best friends a guy could ask for. There are a few that without their help I would not be in the position I am in today. You know who you are. Thank you. The point of this diatribe is this…….always push forward and never give up. Always know that it gets better. Know your worth. Never ever let another person dictate your importance. You are important to this world. Choose love. I got you. TYUOMP”
