The legendary Chris Holmes is moving to Europe!
The former W.A.S.P. guitarist is leaving Los Angeles to venture 6000 miles to Europe where he plans to set up home and is currently seeking a band that are looking for lead guitarist. Fans are already welcoming the move on social networking sites and are eager to see the 6’6″ giant take to the stage on European soil.
Holmes has been working on his upcoming second album ‘Shitting Bricks’, the follow-up to 2012’s ‘Nothing To Lose’, and news of a release date is expected in 2014.
Manager and wife Sarah Holmes says, “The Metal scene in Europe is a very healthy place for rock right now, lots of bands popping up everywhere of the likes of Ghost, Hardcore Superstar, Sabaton and Rammstein. We have been working on moving to Europe since early last year and now we feel its time to do so as we have achieved our goals that we have set out to do here. Chris is overwhelmed with the feedback he has received from the fans out there wanting him to come to Europe. I have to say that they will not be disappointed. They are in for a treat, he has plans to tour so that will be something to look forward to.”
