August 23, 2010

Bassist Uriah Duffy recently parted with Whitesnake to focus on a range of projects, including new acts The Memorials (with Thomas Pridgen of The Mars Volta), Blackgates (also featuring former Anthrax vocalist Dan Nelson, Testament, Exodus and Slayer drummer Paul Bostaph and guitarist Jeremy Epp), ongoing work with renowned rapper Lyrics Born, The Jazz Ma a, and his upcoming solo album for his own project The Uriah Duffy Band.

Video footage of Uriah Duffy, drummer Glen Sobel (Impellitteri, Sixx: A.M.), and guitarist Toshi Hiketa (David Lee Roth, Hideous Sun Demons) from their recent clinic/performance tour of Japan has been posted online and can be viewed below. The trio performed and conducted master class clinics in six different cities where they discussed rock performance and technique as well as developing an identifiable sound on your instrument.
