Quiet Riot drummer Frankie Banali continues his fight to prolong his life and his stay in and out of hospitals after receiving the diagnosis in April 2019 that he had stage four pancreatic cancer.
The following message was posted on Banali‘s Facebook page earlier tonight:
“Update: I spent the last three weeks in the hospital. Home now. Had two blood transfusions. I also had a stroke while there. I am rehabbing at home. Thank you for your concern and well wishes.
A GoFundMe campaign was started by Eden and Peter Beckett last month to assist Banali with his mounting medical bills. As of press time, $47,327 US had been raised towards the $40,000 US goal. Sleaze Roxx first posted an article about that campaign on April 28, 2020.
Banali was given six months to live back in April 2019 but he has already clearly beaten those odds.
