Frontiers Music Srl and singer Dino Jelusick announce litigation between them now settled

After seemingly two years of litigation, Italian record label Frontiers Music Srl and Croatian powerhouse singer Dino Jelusick have announced that they have been able to settle the litigation between them.

In an interview with Hard Rock Haven back in March 2021, guitarist George Lynch who was Jelusick‘s bandmate in the project Dirty Shirley at that time was asked about a second Dirty Shirley album. Lynch indicated: “Right now we can’t, because there’s some legal thing going on with him, I think. Nothing to do with me, but that precludes him from working with a particular label, from what I understand. I don’t know too much about it. So unfortunately, as much as we both wanna do another Dirty Shirley record – we can’t, until he gets that business sorted out.

Back in June 2021, Frontiers issued a statement explaining what the litigation was about. The following is an excerpt from that statement: “The nature of the lawsuit is that Frontiers believes that it contractually has the rights to the exclusive services of Mr. Dino Jelusic for recordings. The artist in question had initially recognized this agreement, but subsequently, and without any explanation, refused and even denied such right to exist.”

The following message was posted on Frontiers Music Srl‘s Facebook page earlier today:

Frontiers Music Srl wishes to announce that we have recently settled our litigation with Croatian singer Dino Jelusick in front of the court of Napoli, Italy.

Frontiers considers the settlement satisfactory and wishes Dino the best of luck with his endeavors.

Frontiers released one studio album entitled “Bite!” and a digital only covers EP “Back to the Roots” with Jelusick’s band ANIMAL DRIVE. Jelusick also appeared on the successful Dirty Shirley album together with George Lynch (Lynch Mob, The End Machine, ex-Dokken). Jelusick recently completed a US tour with Trans-Siberian Orchestra and will soon reveal plans for his future.”

Jelusick also issued a similar statement on his Facebook page earlier today:

“The most important announcement I was waiting for and being quiet about:

I wish to inform you that I have recently settled my litigation with Frontiers Records in front of the court of Napoli, Italy.

I consider the settlement satisfactory and wish Frontiers Records best of luck with their endeavors.

Frontiers released one studio album with my ex-band ANIMAL DRIVE entitled “Bite!” and a digital only covers EP “Back to the Roots”. I also appeared on Dirty Shirley album together with George Lynch (ex-Dokken, Lynch Mob).

My future plans will be announced soon.
