Kiss star Gene Simmons is poised to shock the literary world with his latest book – a frank history of prostitution. The tome – entitled “Ladies Of The Night” – will offer readers a historical insight into the world’s oldest profession, plus Simmons’ take on the trade from a very personal perspective.

He says, “They (prostitutes) make a very good living doing what biology dictates, which is they charge for their companionship.”

The book – Simmons’ third – will be released later this year. The rocker is currently embroiled in a legal battle after a video allegedly showing him having sex with a model was posted on the Internet.
