Gene Simmons Rules Out Another Full Kiss Reunion

GENE SIMMONS RULES OUT ANOTHER FULL KISS REUNION:

June 14, 2008

Kiss star Gene Simmons has ruled out ever inviting former bandmates Peter Criss and Ace Frehley back onstage with him – because they’re not fit enough to cut it live. Criss and Frehley joined Simmons and frontman Paul Stanley in three separate Kiss incarnations, but the bass player insists they won’t be back for a third reunion run.

The rocker claims drinking and drugs have taken their toll on his aging ex-bandmates and they no longer have the energy to make it through a high-octane Kiss show.

Simmons tells Britain’s Mojo magazine, “Ace and Peter just can’t do it… We tried three times to make it work with those guys in the band. But last time I checked, this was not a babysitting business.”
