George Lynch cancels shows including M3 Rock Festival gig with Dokken due to pneumonia

Bad news for guitarist George Lynch who is suffering from pneumonia so badly that he has elected to cancel concerts that are as far as eleven days away.

The following message was posted on Lynch‘s Facebook page earlier today:

“Due to my continued pneumonia I will regrettably have to cancel my upcoming my appearance this Friday at the Dallas Guitar Show as well as the M3 show with Dokken and will also have to reschedule the upcoming Lynch Mob shows in Chicago and Kansas City. Thank-you for your understanding.”

Lynch was scheduled to appear at the M3 Rock Festival on May 5, 2019 with Dokken on what was advertised as 3/4th of the classic band line-up (along with singer Don Dokken and drummer “Wild” Mick Brown).  Dokken were scheduled to headline Day 3 of the M3 Rock Festival ahead of Mötley Crüe‘s lead vocalist Vince Neil. There is no word yet on whether Dokken will lose their headliner set now that Lynch is out of the line-up.

Lynch was also scheduled to play with Lynch Mob at the Cheers Live Music Venue in Midlothian, Illinois, USA on May 10th and at The Rock Scene Bar in Kansas City, Missouri, USA on May 11th.
