George Lynch teams up with Christopher C. Romero on new song
Legendary guitarist George Lynch of Lynch Mob, KXM and Shadowtrain recently teamed up with actor /musician Christopher C.Romero (Drug Under, Sick and Romeo Delight) on a brand new song called “Phoenix Rising”.
The track was produced, mixed, mastered and engineered by Chris Collier (Lynch Mob, KXM and Prong). The song is set to appear on Romero‘s yet untitled EP via CYR Records, Inc., which is due this summer. It will also appear on the soundtrack to the indie / grindhouse horror film “Choppers Of The Dead”. The film will also mark Romero‘s directorial debut.
Romero describes himself and his current project as follows: “Some of my current & past bands are/were SICK, Drug Under, Romeo Delight, Romero, Soul Crusher, Jar Of Flies, Jimmy D Anda Project, Lynch Mob (George Lynch, ex-Dokken) & Romero “Unplugged”. I’m currently in the studio recording my debut solo CD with co-producer Jon Osborne. The CD marks the first time I will be writing, producing & playing all the instruments by myself, with the exception of a few special guests. The album will be released on my own imprint CYR Records, Inc. summer 2015.”.
