George Lynch Teams Up With King’s X Frontman In KXM

September 16, 2013

Former Dokken guitarist George Lynch, King’s X bassist/vocalist Doug Pinnick and Korn drummer Ray Luzier have teamed up in KXM.

The band, which formed in early 2013, have posted an introductory trailer where they describe how they came together, the meaning behind the name KXM, and gives a glimpse into their stellar songwriting ability as they perform the song “Gun Fight”.

“I wanted to always do this — play with guys that have compelling ideas,” says George Lynch, best known for his work in Dokken and Lynch Mob. “Its better when we all contribute and then we have this interesting chemistry which is different than what I normally do. That’s why this record, when I listen to it, is so special to me.”

KXM’s debut album will be released via Rat Pak Records, with an album title and release date to be determined.
