Great White Unveil Video For “Shotgun Willie’s” Single

May 8, 2013

Great White have released a video for the song “Shotgun Willie’s”, the fourth single off ‘Elation’, their first album with new vocalist Terry Ilous.

Great White took a different approach for this video by letting their audience helm the director’s chair. Filmed over the course of March’s 2013 Monsters of Rock Cruise, where Great White headlined the floating rock festival, the video encapsulates the high energy of everyone there and the five-piece band’s bond.

“We discovered after looking at the footage that not only do we look like we are having a blast,” guitarist Michael Lardie said, “but that our fans connected to our music in ways that we can’t always see from the stage under the lights. Some of the video is very much a party atmosphere, but this is also a video scrapbook of people that have never stopped loving our music and continue to be a part of the Great White family.”

‘Elation’ was orginally released on May 18th, 2012 through Frontiers Records with production and mixing being handled by guitarist/keyboardist Michael Lardie followed by a digital remixed version by George Tutko, known for his work with such artists as Rod Stewart, KISS, Ozzy Osbourne, John Mellencamp and more.

Best known for the 1989 smash “Once Bitten, Twice Shy,” Great White’s worldwide sales are approaching 10 million. Their song arsenal also includes “Rock Me,” “Save Your Love,” “The Angel Song,” “Mistabone” and more.
