Grim Reaper’s frontman Steve Grimmett has right leg amputated from below the knee

The final result appears in with respect to Grim Reaper frontman Steve Grimmett‘s fight against a very serious infection. The singer had to have his right leg amputated to below the knee but appears to be in good spirits.

Yesterday, Sleaze Roxx had reported that Grimmett was rushed to hospital immediately after his band Steve Grimmett’s Grim Reaper‘s show at Piedrahits & Pedro Moncayo in Guayaquil, Ecuador on Saturday, January 14, 2017. Grimmett had then undergone surgery which did not succeed in defeating the infection in question so the next step was to amputate a portion of one of his legs yesterday.

The following message was posted by Grimmett‘s wife Millie via the Facebook page of Steve Grimmett’s Grim Reaper about three hours ago:

“Steve update:

Yesterday steve had his right leg removed from below the knee. The infection was so aggressive it spread from his toes to his knee over night. I’ve briefly spoken to him and he sounds in high spirits, laughing and joking. Hopefully he will start his journey home next week.
