Guitarist Nita Strauss’ new band We Start Wars to release new music on April 24th

Alice Cooper guitarist Nita Strauss has started a new all-female band entitled We Start Wars that will be releasing new music on April 24th and playing their first show at the Whisky A Go-Go at West Hollywood, California, USA on May 25th.

The new group features Strauss on guitar, Alicia Vigil (Vigil Of War) on bass, Seana (a.k.a. Shauna Lisse) on vocals, Nicole Papastavrou on guitar, Katt Scarlett (Femme Fatale) on keyboards and Lindsay Martin on drums.

The following message was posted on Strauss‘ Facebook page earlier today:

“Looks like the cat is out of the bag!! My new band We Start Wars is playing our first show May 25 at the Whisky a Go-Go!! I’ve been wanting to be in this EXACT band since I started playing guitar, and after over a year of putting this together and auditioning musicians, finally ended up with an amazingly talented, hard working and driven group of girls. I truly couldn’t be more proud of how these songs are coming out. I know a few of you have already put some of the pieces together about who’s in the band… Stay tuned to the WSW social media pages for new music and full band lineup, coming this Monday!!!!
