One has to conclude that Guns N’ Roses‘ “reunion” between singer Axl Rose, guitarist Slash and bassist Duff McKagan has to be deemed a financial success with a report from Metal Injection (based on statistics from Billboard) that the group took in over $150 million in gross sales while touring for three months in 2017.
noted that Guns N’ Roses earned about $50 million in gross sales for their US tour dates and over $100 million for their tour stops in Europe.
Europe was especially lucrative for Guns N’ Roses with their London tour stop netting $17,171,304 in gross sales (over two shows on July 16 and 17, 2017) and eleven European tour dates taking in more money in gross sales than the top grossing US tour stop at the U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA on July 30, 2017.
