The following message was posted on Ross‘ Facebook page on December 25, 2017:

“This song called LOVE YOU TO PIECES…. never would have happened if not for you Norene…you’ve inspired me in every single facit of my life…your the most incredible beautiful soul inside and out I’ve ever ever EVER MET!…I can’t type enough of the word EVER….I’ve moved to NYC…Los Angeles… Nashville…Florida etc etc all the while searching for you and by the grace of God…I FOUND YOU….your more than deserving of everything I can do to make you smile…I love you as well…more than you know..3 weeks ago I had planned to do this after I was thinking….what can I get her that she’s gonna hopefully love and hopefully now means you do…. I wrote the song in about 5-7 minutes but I’ve learned that those ones are usually your best ones…. I couldn’t have done this without to AMAZING friends….Dave RUSLAND and Dave Grennan….Dave Rusland put his heart into making it sound great and did an amazing job with the background vocals and Dave Grennan and I had gotten together about 10 days ago so he could learn the song and he sure did as his piano and chellos are both moving and perfect…you both are talented and caring friends…so I love end this with… Your so very welcome honey and I LOVE YOU….xxxoooo…..m”

Christmas 2017 – artist Michael Ross visited and recorded in my home studio performing a melodic ballad he’d just written. Great performance, and I had fun sitting on the other side of the recording process producing, writing and performing the subtle backup vocals. Good times! Take a listen.
