Hardcore Superstar Release ‘Last Call For Alcohol’ Live Video
January 29, 2014
With the success of their current record ‘C’mon Take On Me’, and a co-headlining tour alongside L.A. rock veterans Buckcherry in mind, Swedish street-metal maniacs Hardcore Superstar have released a live video for the song “Last Call For Alcohol”.
Released on March 1st, 2013, through Nuclear Blast, Sleaze Roxx said ‘C’mon Take On Me’ was “a much more polished sounding album than 2010’s Split Your Lip, however it does continue the band’s move away from their more Metallica-influenced thrash elements that became prominent on previous releases Dreamin’ In A Casket and Beg For It. This time around Hardcore Superstar have continued on towards their roots of catchy hard rock with a few twists.”
‘C’mon Take On Me’ was produced by Hardcore Superstar and mixed by Randy Staub (Metallica, Motley Crue, The Cult).
“We came up with the idea during the recordings of the album,” stated drummer Adde regarding the album’s artwork. “It’s just so sexy when a woman jumps into a drum kit — what could be more exciting? We discussed the concept with photographer Micke Johansson, who loved the idea. What we especially like about it is the combination of sex and bruises!”
