Dangerous Toys, Broken Teeth, Ignitor and new Dirty Looks frontman Jason McMaster was recently interviewed by Chuck Shute for the Chuck Shute Podcast.
With Tora Tora having recently announced that they are releasing a five-song acoustic EP titled Unplugged, McMaster was asked whether Dangerous Toys would consider releasing an acoustic EP to which the singer replied (as transcribed by Sleaze Roxx):
“Well, the last thing I want to does make my drummer play a tambourine… because what people know you for, they really expect that. Bunch of old fat dudes with balding long hair with a skull-it type of thing going on trying to fit into their skinny jeans playing acoustic, just sounds and looks in my mind like a retarded video. It doesn’t sound good to me. I am not calling anyone who’s doing that old or fat or bald or anything. I am just trying to create a scenario to get myself out of you thinking it’s a good idea.”

Dangerous Toys have released four studio albums consisting of Dangerous Toys (1989), Hellacious Acres (1991), Pissed (1994) and The R*tist 4*merly Known as Dangerous Toys (1995).
