Hell’s Addiction taking a break from touring as band has been very close to splitting up
Following the implosion of Finnish sleaze rockers Santa Cruz earlier this week, UK hard rockers Hell’s Addiction have admitted being very close to breaking up and now will be taking some time off from touring to re-energize themselves and work on their third studio album.
The following message was posted on Hell’s Addiction‘s Facebook page earlier today:
“ANNOUNCEMENT FROM HELL’S ADDICTION
It’s probably no surprise to hear that its tough balancing life in a band and personal lives. We have been holding some internal discussions recently and to be honest we have been very close to splitting up.
However, none of us really want that so we have come to an agreement to take a break from playing live for a few months so that we can clear our heads and get our mojos back.
We also want to spend that time writing and simply being creative – to write the best damn hard rock n roll album possible. It will be our 3rd album and the first written and recorded with this line-up so we owe it to ourselves to rise to the challenge and produce the best we possibly can.
So to that end, we are going to take a step back from live shows for the foreseeable future apart from our home town show on Fri 22nd June – Dryden Street Social, Leicester.
We plan to return to playing live in time for Redemption Festival in Wakefield on 18th September.
Our very sincere apologies for those planning to see us live but we really do need this for ourselves for the survival of the band.
The better news is that we have another single and video in the can for you over the coming weeks. The Way I Feel, will be the final track to our new EP. More details of which real soon.
We will see you on the other side, bigger, badder, leaner and meaner.
