Los Angeles rockers Hillbilly Herlad have released a video for “Shame On Me”, the first single from their new EP ‘Sunday’s Best’. The EP, and accompanying live DVD, can be purchased direct from the band at www.hillbillyherald.com.
“Sunday’s Best is an EP that features five tracks cut from the same cloth as Bon Scott era AC/DC,” raved SleazeRoxx.com. “Hillbilly Herald also possess the knack of delivering memorable powerful riff driven music with blistering guitar solos, memorable choruses, and fun songs — it’s straight-up no-frills rock ‘n’ roll.”
Staying true to rock n’ roll, Hillbilly Herald is bringing back “The Show” with in-your-face guitar slingin’, raspy voiced singin’, drum ringin’ rock n roll and taking the US by storm. Packing in world-renown venues like the Viper Room, Roxy Theater, and the House of Blues, the band, fronted by Jimmy Herald, seems unstoppable.
In April of 2012, the band kicked it up a notch, rolling out on tour with Steel Panther in Texas and then followed it up as the supporting act for Slash featuring Myles Kennedy and The Conspirators throughout the US in May. Slash went on to call Hillbilly Herlad “one of the most kickass R & R bands around.”
The band’s success has been largely the result of Herald’s balls-out attitude towards rock n roll and his determination to move the group forward. The current line-up consists of Mark “The Cat” Hill (lead guitar), Adam Wolf (bass), Hawaiian Brian (guitar), and Louie “Sea Biscuit” Riel (drums).
