Inglorious frontman Nathan James meets his hero / Whitesnake lead vocalist David Coverdale

Inglorious lead vocalist and founder Nathan James is widely known as having one of the great voices in rock yet he seemingly was in awe at meeting a great veteran rock n’ roll singer — Whitesnake frontman David Coverdale.

The following message was posted on James‘ Facebook page yesterday:

“HERE’S A PIC FOR YA!!!! so yesterday I was stood behind the stage for #whitesnake enjoying the set when the guitar tech called me over and let me stand on the stage, right by DCs quick change area…

He walked off stage pointed at me and said “nathan?” I couldn’t believe he knew my name. Was in total shock. He then came over hugged me and asked me if I was ok after the car crash?!?!?! How did he know!?!?! We had a pic…but i accidently took a video and the he had to go back on stage so said “next time I’m off darling, we’ll take another” and he did. He Came off and straight to me to chat. He was so so sweet, a total gent and proper rockstar. The video is David saying about us having a picture “mid show, mid coitus” which is just the kind of innuendo I wanted from this legend. A lovely bloke a kind soul and an absolute rock legend.

I have never smiled so hard.
