IRON MAIDEN SINGER WARNS ABOUT ROCK N ROLL LIFESTYLE:
January 28, 2009
The following is a community service announce from Iron Maiden singer Bruce Dickinson.
The Iron Maiden frontman said he was amazed that most musicians and rock stars prefer partying to playing music.
Speaking to Serbian newspaper Blic ahead of the band’s show in Belgrade next month, he said: “Most people who join rock and roll bands just want to drink, to screw around, and to try drugs a bit.
“Those are things that I can’t get along with.”
He added that he and the band were looking forward to playing the Belgrade Arena on February 10th as they had “some wonderful memories” of the city.
It will be the fourth time they have played in Serbia’s capital city in their career and the only gig in Europe this year as part of their Somewhere Back In Time world tour.
