Izzy Stradlin releases cover of J.J. Cale’s “Call Me The Breeze”

Former Guns N’ Roses rhythm guitarist Izzy Stradlin released a cover on December 17, 2016 of J.J. Cale‘s “Call Me The Breeze” which features guest appearances by Lauren Barth (vocals) and Jesse Aycock (guitar).

The song was recorded in late summer of 2016 at Brotheryn Studios in Ojai, California and Fellowship Hall Sound in Little Rock, Arkansas.

Stradlin is the only original Guns N’ Roses member who has yet to join Axl Rose (vocals), Slash (guitar) and Duff McKagan (bass) on stage during the trio’s Not In This Lifetime tour all across the world.

Drummer Steven Adler has joined the trio on stage to play one or two songs on a few occasions including in the United States of America in July 2016 and Argentina in November 2016.

Stradlin reportedly rehearsed with Guns N’ Roses but couldn’t agree on cameo fee which apparently was in the five figures per concert.
