Jack Russell’s Great White Experience Spinal Tap Moment

Jack Russell’s Great White Experience Spinal Tap Moment

April 22, 2014

In a scene straight out of the classic cult film ‘This Is Spinal Tap’, Jack Russell’s Great White recently played a gig in Trenton, New Jersey, with disastrous results.

On April 19th Jack Russell’s Great White were slated to play a post game concert immediately after a Professional Indoor Football League duel between the Trenton Freedom and the Columbus Lions at the Sun National Bank Center. The evening was being billed as ’80s night, where fans were encouraged to dress up as their favorite ’80s pop or rock star in exchange for prizes.

Obviously no one told the thousand plus football fans in attendance that there would be a concert after the game — or else the promoters completely dropped the ball — as Great White played to what appears to be an optimistic estimate of 40 people. Even by club standards the attendance was low, but the Sun National Bank Center has a capacity of 8500! To make matters worse… the Great White show was free!

Despite the abysmal turn-out, Jack Russell appeared to be in fine form and obviously gave the extremely sparse crowd a show to remember.
