JACKVIPER SINGER SAYS HE “DID NOT LEAVE BUT WAS SACKED”:
June 5, 2008
On June 2nd JackViper revealed that they had parted ways with vocalist Jay R due to musical differences. Today, Jay told his side of the story at www.myspace.com/sleazemeister.
As you will have read I have parted ways with JackViper. I just want to be clear on a few things. I did not leave but was sacked. The manner in which it was done was not cool and frankly pisses on the last four years! I’m not entirely sure what direction the guys want to head now but I can say that I am a sleaze rocker to the bone. It is the only music I truely love and am immensely proud of the songs that I co-wrote and performed with JackViper.
I guess that they felt that my vocals do not suit where they want to go!
Rest assured that I’m currently looking into a few projects and will be making announcements soon.
I want to thank all the people that I have met over the years on the road and all the fans who have shown such exceptional support.
You are all rocking motherfuckers!
I hope that you will continue to support me in any new endeavor.
Jay R.
