Jamie Allen Pays Tribute To Jani Lane In New Single

Solo artist Jamie Allen pays homage to former Warrant vocalist Jani Lane in his latest single “Against The Ceiling”. Allen has made the acoustic song, where he puts himself in the place of Jani Lane on the night that he passed away, available as a free download through his website at www.jamieallenrocks.com.

Says Allen about the song, “I played the song, first for my wife, and then Jayme, and they approved. I love the song, and I guess that is all that really matters as a songwriter. This song really helped me “be ok” with the fact my hero was gone.

The song was recorded in St. Louis, at Greg Morris’s Studio, and Greg added the harmonies on the song.

Jani Lane was found dead in a Comfort Inn motel room in Woodland Hills, California on August 11th of undetermined causes — he was 47 years old.
