Janet Gardner releases video for song “Candle”

Two days after undergoing emergency surgery to her head, Vixen frontwoman Janet Gardner has released a video for her song “Candle” from her debut self-titled solo album.

The following message was posted on the Janet Gardner Page Facebook page yesterday:

“As many of you who follow our pages may know, Justin and I recently finished shooting our latest video. It was planned to be released, and promoted over the next couple of weeks.

This song is deeply personal to me. It is about a very difficult time in my life, the passing of my parents. I wanted to be their Candle, and get them through that moment.

Now at another very difficult moment in my life, so many of you have deeply touched me with your wonderful thoughts, prayers, and support.

We wanted to post this video for all of you.

Thank you all so much for being my Candle.”
