San Antonio Texas, USA based rockers Jessikill led by led vocalist Jessica Espinoza have parted ways with guitarist Jyro Alejo. The latter had in the band since 2014 and ended up marrying Espinoza in early 2018.

No official announcement was seemingly made by Jessikill in that regard but the following message was posted on Alejo‘s Facebook page back on April 16, 2023:

“I officially want to announce that I will be stepping down from playing with Jessikill and I also will not be working with Jessica in my side projects. We had fun and some great years behind us but sometimes things don’t work out in the long run even when you really tried..

I wish Jessica the best in her musical endeavors no matter what.. ✌️✌️

Speaking exclusively to Sleaze Roxx, Alejo was asked what led to his departure from Jessikill to which he replied, “Change in musical direction.” In terms what were his highlights while in Jesskill, Alejo indicated: “Top highlight would have to be the U.S tour we did with Yngwie Malmsteen from coast to coast.” With respect to his plans for the future, Alejo stated: “My plans for the future is to deliver the most epic and dangerous sounds that my mind can create. I’m currently putting a new original band together everything will be launched this year and future shows will be announced.”
