Judas Priest postpone US tour as Richie Faulkner hospitalized due to “major medical heart condition”
Sleaze Roxx has some sad news to report from the Judas Priest camp as the veteran rockers’ 50 Heavy Metal Years tour has come to a grinding halt due to guitarist Richie Faulkner getting hospitalized due to “major medical heart condition issues.”
The following message was posted on Judas Priest‘s Facebook page earlier today:
“It is with deep regret that we have to postpone the rest of our US Tour – Richie has major medical heart condition issues which have landed him in hospital where he is being treated – in the meantime we are all sending love to our Falcon to wish him a speedy recovery…
As soon as we have any updates from his doctors on when we can reschedule the dates we will of course announce them – tickets will be valid.

Faulkner joined Judas Priest in 2011 replacing long-time guitarist K.K. Downing. To date, the 41 year old Faulkner has played on two Judas Priest studio albums — Redeemer of Souls (2014) and Firepower (2018).
