Junkyard 69 Get “Restless” In New Music Video

January 31, 2014

Junkyard 69 are gearing up for the release of their debut album and are kicking things off with a music video for the first single “Restless”.

A hard rock band from Athens, Greece, Junkyard 69 will announce the release date of their first disc, ‘Awakin’ The Fallen’, shortly. “Now, almost two years since our demo release, we are ready to record and release our first full-length album,” state the band members. “And believe us… you’re gonna like it! Brand new songs, kickass riffs n’ solos and tons Of dirty rock n’ roll that will blow your mind.”

Even though the new album is close to release, Junkyard 69 continue to run a crowdsourcing campaign at www.gofundme.com/JunkYard69 to raise funds in exchange for several different rewards.

Junkyard 69 was formed by Phoenix (rhythm guitar) and Spades (drums), and later added Lust (bass) and Jersey (lead guitar). The band was rehearsing and creating their first material while they were looking for a vocalist. After a long search Vaine showed up — making it clear that he was the man for the job.

As soon as the line-up was complete, Junkyard 69 released their first 4-track demo called ‘On A Wing And A Prayer’ in September of 2011. The next step for the band was making the first official video for the single “We Want War”, which was released at the dawn of 2012 as pure evidence that the band was rising and ready to rock all the way.

Details on the upcoming album will be posted to junkyard69.com once they are made available.
