Junkyard 69 Trying To Raise Money For Debut Album

July 30, 2013

Greek rockers Junkyard 69 are trying to raise the money needed to record their first ever full-length album. The band have launched a fundraising campaign at www.gofundme.com/JunkYard69 where fans can donate money in exchange for several different rewards.

Junkyard 69 is a hard rock band from Athens, Greece, consisting of Phoenix (rhythm guitar), Spades (drums), Nikko Lust (bass), Jersey (lead guitar) and Vaine (vocals). As soon as the line-up was complete, Junkyard 69 self-released their first 4-track demo called ‘On A Wing And A Prayer’ in September of 2011, but admit they experienced several difficulties — mainly with money.

“Now, almost two years since our demo release, we are ready to record and release our first full-length album,” state the band members. “And believe us… you’re gonna like it! Brand new songs, kickass riffs n’ solos and tons Of dirty rock n’ roll that will blow your mind.”
