Junkyard Drive looking for full-time bassist due to Tim Meldad’s departure from the band
Danish rockers Junkyard Drive are looking for a new full-time bassist as current bassist Tim Meldad has reportedly decided to leave the band for personal reasons. The group released the studio album Black Coffee back in August 2018.
The following message was posted in part on Junkyard Drive‘s Facebook page earlier today:
“Today we have some sad news to present for you.
Our dear bass player Tim, has informed that he is no longer a member of Junkyard Drive.
Tim had to leave the band for personal reasons, and we have the deepest respect for his decision
//Tim: “I would like to thank the band and all the fans for the great support I’ve got right from the beginning of this adventure, and for all the memories that will never be forgotten.”
Tim will always be a personal friend of the band, and we would like to wish him good luck in the future!
Tim will play his last gig with Junkyard Drive this saturday, so show up in Bramming at Kosmorama, if you want to see him live with the band for the last time.
We’ve already found a stand-in bassist, so no scheduled shows will be cancelled.
We still need a full time member to replace Tim, so if you know the right guy, tag him/her in a comment below.
LONG LIVE ROCK AND ROLL!!! ?
