Kill City Kills to release new album ‘Badlands I’ on September 25th
Russian sleaze rockers Kill City Kills featuring lead vocalist Ellis Sylvain, guitarist Nikki T-Shock and drummer Andrew Sharapko on drums will be releasing a new album titled Badlands I on September 25, 2020.
The following message was posted in part on Kill City Kills‘ Facebook page earlier today:
“Get ready for Badlands I
Badlands I is a mini-album by KCK to be released on the 25th of September.
“Badlands” is nothing more than a metaphor, but with this release we have tried to create some context for our music, but this is not conceptual work in the usual sense.
Our tracks still unite rage and merciless protest: these are odes to freedom and independence. This is hysterical excitement that you have in the most desperate moments. These are your unfortunate adrenal glands, which emit a horse dose of adrenaline, knocking out the last fuses in your head. When life hangs in the balance, and the world is about to fall into the very abyss – it’s time to become kings at this party. We have prepared a soundtrack for this mess.
The number I indicates that this is the beginning. We decided not to dump everything on you at once, and we definitely have more to say in Badlands. In this blazing survival arena, you will watch the evolution of KCK sound and material. We are happy to work with Cristoffer Borg (Art Nation, Amaranthe, Taste) as a mixing engineer for this release.
