King Lizard Shoot “A Nightmare Livin’ The Dream’ Rockumentary
February 3, 2013
King Lizard have given fans an exclusive look into the making of their latest album ‘A Nightmare Livin’ The Dream’. Directed, shot and edited by Matt Connell of Fenixx Productions, the 17 minute ‘rockumentary’ takes you into the studio sessions for King Lizard’s second album.
‘A Nightmare Livin’ The Dream’ was released on November 19th through Bad Reputation Records, and in a recent review SleazeRoxx.com said, “If Axl Rose released these songs as Chinese Democracy fans would be gushing that it was his best work since Appetite For Destruction. Instead they were recorded by King Lizard, who will probably get ignored because they aren’t a ‘big’ name. In that respect it is ‘a nightmare living the dream’ for young artists — but there is nothing nightmarish about listening to King Lizard’s latest slab of sleaze.”
King Lizard have also passed into the worldwide Hard Rock Cafe competition called Hard Rock Rising 2013. The winner of each Cafe’s local battle will win great prizes and move on to the Global competition competing against 95 other bands. King Lizard are offering a free download of “A Nightmare Livin’ The Dream” to everyone who votes for them at www.facebook.com/hardrockcafelondon.
The band are currently booking a European tour, already confirming dates in Spain and working on more dates in Denmark, Sweden, and Switzerland. They have also filmed a video for the title track that should be ready for release sometime in February.
