Kissin’ Dynamite confirm that they will be continuing despite drummer Andi Schnitzer’s departure
After the surprising announcement two weeks ago that Kissin’ Dynamite‘s founding member and long-time drummer Andi Schnitzer had quit the band, the remaining group members — Steffen Haile (bass), Jim Müller (guitar), Hannes Braun (lead vocals) and Ande Braun (guitar) — have formally announced that they will be continuing their musical journey without him. Kissin’ Dynamite‘s last studio album Ecstasy finished at #2 on the Sleaze Roxx’s Top Ten Albums of 2018 and #15 on the Sleaze Roxx Readers’ Top 20 Albums of 2018.
The following message was posted on Kissin’ Dynamite’s Facebook page earlier today:
“Dear friends,
After two weeks since Andi declared his parting of Kissin’ Dynamite, we finally have something to say.
A lot of you were shocked about the future of the band. Some even thought the band would break up.
But now we are very pleased to tell you:
Kissin’ Dynamite will continue!
We strongly believe that every change (even for the worse at first sight) opens up new ways and new possibilities!
And so the four of us are still enthusiastic to make music together and we totally look forward to start the next chapter with all of you!
Also we will play all planned shows (if COVID-19 lets us)!
So far we can not tell you who will play the drums, because we will need some time for this matter.
THIS IS NOT THE END OF THE ROAD!
Faithfully,
Hannes, Ande, Jim und Steffen“
